There’s no doubt Zlatan Ibrahimovic will be back with Manchester United this coming season.
News came out this week that Zlatan Ibrahimovic will sign with Manchester United at some point during the upcoming season.
It sounds like with Ibrahimovic’s recovery going better than expected, United are inclined to bring him back.
From The Sun:
SunSport understands the United medical staff are amazed by the Swede’s recovery this summer, with boss Jose Mourinho expected to offer last season’s top scorer a short-term deal until the end of the campaign.
To be honest, I’m not surprised by this news at all.
First of all, Ibrahimovic has been rehabbing at United’s Carrington training facility, which tells me he still wants to be a part of the club even though he’s no longer under contract.
Despite his injury, Ibrahimovic has had the chance to sign with any club he wants, whether it’s in America or China and he’s decided not to.
Honestly, it would be a mistake for Ibrahimovic to signing anywhere else but with United after a very impressive season in 2016-17 despite the fact that he’s in his mid-30’s. And he knows it, which is why he’ll player at least one more season in the Premier League.
Some people might be skeptical of Ibrahimovic coming back because of Manchester United signing Romelu Lukaku from Everton, but I believe that manager Jose Mourinho will figure out how to use him along with Zlatan Ibrahimovic in order to maximize their chances of being successful in 2017-18.
The upcoming season will be a long one with Manchester United now back in the Champions League and they need all the fire power they can get.
